Matshidiso (say Mat-sea-dee-so) is a Londoner of Jamaican and South African descent, her name, translating to "blessing," is a name from the Sotho tribe.

A multi-disciplinary musician - classically trained pianist, composer, producer, singer-songwriter and sound artist who blends jazz, alternative, hip-hop, and world music into a soulful, clearly personal sound.

Matshidiso is interested in story. The power of story and narrative to reframe how we remember, who we remember and why we remember. This is underpinned by a passion for justice and a deep value for collaborative interdisciplinary practice.
